Details:
Overseas candidates for Speech Therapy jobs are required not only to be approved by the RCSLT, but also registered with the HPC before practising in the UK.
Information on the approval to practice for overseas-trained Speech Therapy and Language Therapists can be obtained from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapist.
Candidates are required to have a Bachelor of Speech Pathology.
UK Grades are:
Basic - 6 months post qualifying experience
Senior II - 2 years post qualifying experience
Senior I - 4 years post qualifying experience
Locum Areas of Speciality for Speech Therapists/Language Therapy:
- Adult - Hospital & Community Clinics
- Paediatric - Hospital, Mainstream & Special Needs Schools
